Chances are you struggle (like I do) with finding good keywords. I can find keywords all day long. Most of what I find are just not good enough.
When I used Google’s keyword tool I trusted the results 100%. A big company like that wouldn’t give false results, would they? Turns out they do and they don’t.
What you see (the data) is not what you get. At the time it was put together it will have been perfectly correct. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.
I decided to go for a keyword with about five thousand competing pages. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. So I set out putting articles out. Lots of articles.
Pretty soon I noticed over 9000 competitors. I was shocked at this huge difference. Looked like it was going to be hard work. It turned out that my articles were showing on these sites and ranking for the keyword.
What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. An awful lot of these new sites were showing my article, thus I was my own competitor. A nice situation to be in!
Anyway, I decided to give a keyword research service a try as I couldn’t count on getting lucky every time. I was looking to get some decent keywords delivered on a daily basis. I had figured that the daily cost against how much work I would save is value for my money.
Travis Sago was offering a service which I decided to try. After all, he’s the king of the bum marketers. Bum (article) marketing is something I enjoy as it’s almost free.
If I can get a keyword or two in my in box each day then that saves me valuable time. At least a two hour saving. An hour or two of my time is highly valuable to me when all I have is time. If I weigh the cost each day against my two hours work it clearly becomes value for money.
I get a lot of emails from gurus banging on about outsourcing. And what I’m trying here is simply that. Outsourcing my keyword research to someone else.

Are you like me and struggle with keyword research? Finding keywords isn’t actually the problem. I have a problem finding good ones.
I always believed that Google’s keyword tool gave highly accurate results. I mean, they wouldn’t be telling fibs about their data, would they? Sadly, that’s not always how it goes.
The keyword data you see will be out of date and wrong. It would have been correct at some point though. I discovered the answer almost by pure chance.
I homed in on a key phrase with roughly 5000 competing websites. I was pretty sure I could get a good result with that keyword. I put out probably thousands of articles.
Not long after I saw that there were now almost nine thousand competing sites. My heart sank, I thought my task was gonna be twice as hard now. As it happens most of these extra results were my articles on these different sites.
What I’m saying is that I would have left it alone had I saw over 9000 competing sites. A lot of these sites were ranking with my article so I had a lot of competition but most of it was my own articles. A good result all round in my opinion.

Keyword Excavator – LSI Keyword Research Software Tool Review
The first step in using Keyword Excavator after installation is to log in. Since this software is on your hosting server having a login requirement is a good idea for security purposes.
After that you’re presented with a place to input your keyword phrase and excavate on either Google, Yahoo, MSN live, or using a URL or even copying and pasting the contents of an article.
